Nowadays, with the rapid development of science and technology, people’s requirement for public liabrary is getting higher and higher and the improvement of public library is of utmost necessity and far-reaching significance to our society and life. From my perspective, an ideal public libray can be described as follow.

The first one that comes to my mind readily is that the library should have an extensive collection of books. Academic reading materials, novels, magazines, etc. can meet the needs of various people. We can obtain the latest information in almost all fields here in the library.What's more, while providing readers a bright and comfortbale reading enviroment, culture and leisure functions should be set to the library. The library can have lecture hall, exhibition stand, conference rooms, activity center in it and this provides the readers humane care and place to exchange and develop social skill. Besides, an ideal library, not only depends on its collections, enviorament and facilities, but also depends on the service of the library staff. The library staff should serve the readers with professional assitance, warm and friendly service attitude.

In short, I strongly believe that an ideal public library should be built to meet the need of various of people. In this case, there will be great help to people’s accumulation of knowledge and the improvement of the ability, thus, we can have a more bright and harmonious society in the future.
