This graph reflects some remarkable changes concerning the population of urban 

and rural area in China during the past 20 years.As can be observed from the 

chart, the the population of urban area has experienced a sharp growth since 1990.

 Meanwhile, there has been a slow decline of the population in the rural area. 

This has aroused much concern and widespread discussion among the public. From my

 perpective, this trend of poplulation will do good to our society and will 

continue in the future. 

　　It is not difficult for us, upon careful examination of the issue, to come up with some possible

 factors that underlie the above changes . In the first place, with the development of the socity, more

 and more yong people get much higher education, so they prefer to go to the city where there are 

more chances for work. In the second place, some people in the rural area work and live in the city 

inorder to get more money and better living condition. Last,  to improve the living satandard of the 

whole country, the government also encourages people to enter the city. 

　　From what has been discussed above, this trend of poplulation will continue in the future. It will

 also do good to our society. In this case, the government could make more policies to encourage 

people enter the city. In this case, there will be a more harmonious society.
